Based on the book of the same name by New Yorker writer David Grann, The Lost City of Z tells the story of Percy Fawcett who made several attempts to find an ancient lost city in the Amazon. In 1925, the legendary British explorer Percy Fawcett ventured into the Amazon jungle, in search of a fabled civilization. He never returned. Over the years countless perished trying to find evidence of his party and the place he called “The Lost City of Z.” The film stars Charlie Hunnam, Tom Holland, Sienna Miller, and Robert Pattinson and releases to audiences on April 21, 2017.
